This chapter enlists the causative factors affecting nutritional status leading to two categories of diseases viz. Santarpana (over-nutrition) and apatarpana (under nutrition).  The dietary and lifestyle management of these two disease categories is also elaborated.  Nutraceutical preparations, weight reducing recipes, therapeutic procedures like panchakarma and other associated procedures are described with  medicaments.
