After regaining the consciousness, the treatment should be continued to prevent the remission. This includes purification procedures like emesis ([[vamana]]), purgation ([[virechana]]), bloodletting ([[raktamoksha]]) etc. After that rejuvenating therapy ([[rasayana]]) is also advised. Medicated ghee processed with herbs is used for this purpose.
