==Important Update==
We congratulate and thank all participants for taking part in this competition. We wish them the best.
An acknowledgment email is sent to all participants, who have submitted essays before timeline.
#All essays will follow a stringent blinded review and assessment process in three rounds.
#The scrutiny of submitted essay is already started.
#Blinded and coded essay files will be sent to expert judges for assessment based on a scoring pattern.
# We have received excellent response with more than 160 entries. Therefore it will take more than three months for judging the essays qualitatively and completing this review process.
# The results will be declared probably in the month of June 2020 on website. The participants are advised to stay updated on website. No personal communication is entertained to avoid bias.
# The winners will receive an email with details about awarding ceremony.
# Participation certificate will be mailed to all after declaration of results.

The Charak Samhita Research, Training and Skill Development Centre (CSRTSDC) is established by FHED Trust, India in collaboration with Institute for Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Ayurveda, an Institute fully financed by Government of India, Ministry of AYUSH affiliated to Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. The live edition of Charak Samhita is published online on www.charaksamhita. com . Ayurveda, the knowledge of life, gives due importance to prevention and preservation of health. Emphasizing upon the concept of health and its application in current practice of Ayurveda and contemporary medicine, CSRTSDC is organizing an international essay competition on following topic:

* The competition is open to registered healthcare providers, researchers and scholars from streams of Ayurveda and Allopathy. Students doing Post Graduation and Ph.D. can also participate in the competition.
* The competition is open to all under graduate, post graduate, Ph.D. scholars, registered healthcare providers, researchers and practitioners from streams of Ayurveda and Allopathy. There is no upper age limit for quality write ups in the competition.
* The essays with duly filled registration form should be mailed to carakasamhita@gmail.com as attachment on or before 28 February 2020.
