It can be said that for both of these phases, roga-marga plays a vital role. Also, the movement of dosha (dosha gati) mentioned as normal (prakriti) and abnormal (vaikrita) are with the same nomenclature viz. koshtha, shakha, marma-asthi-sandhi.
