1.Vata dominant unmada is similar to excited catatonic type of schizophrenia and is acute form of schizophrenia. These patients present with the symptoms of catatonic excitement with general symptoms of unmada. It is produced due to vitiation of vata along with rajas and tamas doshas. Due to excess of rajas and vata, catatonic exitement occurs.
