In conditions of gulma (abdominal lumps) atisāra (diarrhoea), udāvarta (upward movement of vāta in abdomen), stambha (stiffness), saṅkucitā (contractures), sarvāṅga roga (paralysis of the whole body), ekāṅga roga (paralysis of one limb) and for such other diseases the discerning physician should administer fruitful basti prepared with the drugs appropriate for each disease condition by adopting the method described earlier. (44-45)
