Solanum anguivi LAM. (syn. *Solanum indicum* L.), popularly known as Bruhati, is an erect, prickly shrub belonging to the family Solanaceae. It is highly esteemed in Ayurveda as a prominent medicinal plant, particularly valued for its role in respiratory health (*Kanthya*), pain relief, and pacifying Kapha and Vata doshas.
