Terminalia arjuna (family Combretaceae), commonly referred to as Arjuna, is one of the most prominent cardiovascular tonics in traditional Ayurvedic pharmacology (Hridya).[1] Used for over a millennium to treat chest pain, heart failure, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, modern clinical and pharmacological research has validated its multi-target mechanisms[2].
