While the ocean was being churned by devas and asuras for obtaining amruta (nector of life), before the formation of amruta a ferocious looking person with fiery eyes, who had 4 fangs and greenish hair emerged. After seeing him the whole world became desperate and from that desperation, visha originated. (4-5)
