The polyherbal compound Shirishadi formulation in the form of nasal spray and tablet by oral administration has shown potent anti-asthmatic activity in patients of bronchial asthma. A randomized double blind clinical trial showed that Sameera Pannaga Rasa (arseno-mercurial formulation) has a significant action in cases bronchial asthma.
