After the cooking is over and the recipe is cooled, sugar (one ''prastha'') and honey (two ''prasthas'') should be added and mixed well. This medicated ghee is useful in the treatment of ''rajayaskshma, apasmara, raktapitta, prameha,'' and ''kshaya''. It prevents aging, promotes longevity and endows the person with muscle tissues, semen as well as strength. If the disease is caused by excess of ''pitta'', then this recipe should be used as linctus. If, however, the disease is caused by the excess of ''vayu'', then it should be taken as a drink.
